[joe-frank-list] Gifts for someone undergoing kidney dialysis

I thought about Joe about an hour ago as I drove past St. John's
hospital in Santa Monica...That's a tough question, Larry. What do
you think you would want if you were living with this? Perhaps
something to make your life easier in some significant way - maybe
something time-saving. A Segway would be cool, wouldn't it? I know I
would want one of those: they're hip, they look like fun, and they
save time getting around. Is there anyone here who could make that
kind of donation? (Hey, you never know...)

As far as books go: you're right; Joe seems well-read and it'd be
difficult to know what book he hasn't picked up yet. Still, he might
dig a rare edition of Faulker picked up somewhere. Maybe an
Audible.com account, so he can choose his own audiobook and journal
subscription. I'm just putting some ideas out there.
