Greetings, good gentles of Darkwood!

Even though White Shield tickets are sold out, this an all day event, and 
there is plenty to bring out the day-tripper.

In addition to plenty of fighting in the White Shield Tourney, there will 
be the White Glove Rapier tourney, Page School Champion Boffer tourney, 
Dancing, and the Drum cover art competition, with nifty prizes for winners 
in adult & youth categories.  Don't forget the annual White Shield silent 
auction.  

There will also be a cooking competition of Soups.  There will be a 
limited number of camp stoves for warming the soups.  After the 
competition, the soups will be offered to the populace for lunch.  You do 
not need to be a feast ticket holder for lunch.

Unfortunately, archery has had to be cancelled due to a crisis in the 
Baronial Archer's family.
