[Darkwood-SCA] Mists/Cynagua War

It was mentioned at the Darkwood meeting that the war was going to be in 
Reno. However, it was just posted on SCA-West that it will be near Oroville, 
CA. I don't know if that is better or worse, but here is the event copy:

Mists-Cynagua War
September 12-14, 2003
Concow Campground, Oroville, CA

Greetings unto the Populace of West. The Fall war will be at Concow 
Reservoir on the weekend of September 12-14.

Site opens Friday at noon and closes Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Merchants are 
welcome on-site as early as 11:00 a.m. on Friday; please contact the 
Autocrat for more information. West Kingdom fire laws will be in effect.

Site Fee: $10 (members); $13 (non-members); $7 (ages 5-12); under 5 -free

Driving Directions:

>From Bay Area or Sacramento Area:
Take your best route to I-5 and go north towards Redding. Take the 70/99 
exit toward Marysville/Yuba City, and continue north on Hwy. 70. **Follow 70 
through Oroville. After leaving Oroville, when you
reach the top of the hill, there will be a sign that says "Concow School" 
with an arrow pointing left. This is Concow Road –turn left here. Continue 
approximately 4.5 miles, past Crane Park. You will come to a fire station 
near Ishi Trail. The Concow Campground is directly opposite the fire station 
(and SCA signs will be present).
