| The Programmer works for programming 24Cxx and PIC16C8x only. It is improved by removing the 100nF capacitor, C2. The capacitor slows down risetime and may cause a problem with In Circuit Programming. Use Programmer 2 to program 12C508. The programmer may do, but Programmer 2 is better, and there is no spikes on Vpp. |
The high Vpp is obtained by using the negative voltage to
drive the chip. The voltage is stabilized with zener diodes.
This makes it possible to use extra low input voltage.
Transistor driver guarantee output level > ±3V.
