Fran Zandonella

   Animation Technologist, Multi-touch Enthusiast,
   Software Engineer, and Support Specialist

Fran Zandonella is a technologist who helps animation artists effortlessly express their creative visions in computer animated movies. With over 10 years experience working in the Animation and Visual Effects Industry on the technical side of production, she makes easy-to-use tools for artists and supports them in their creative endeavors. In short, she makes "fancy paint brushes" for artists.

Ms. Zandonella has worked for over three years at R&H as the Sr. International Pipeline Technical Director, facilitating the technical aspects of Production between all of R&H's locations. Previously, she worked briefly at a leading edge multi-touch company. Before that she spent over 3 years at LAIKA, Inc, working on the genesis of its new Entertainment division, and seven years at Disney Feature Animation during its golden age. Wizard, detective, white knight, and guide are just some of the technological roles Ms. Zandonella has assumed in her career. In all her endeavors, she has written artist-focused software, created quality assurance processes, written web-based documentation, trained artists, and rescued artists from rascally computers and found their lost digital art, usually within an international context.
