Fran Zandonella
Fran Zandonella is a technologist who helps animation artists effortlessly express their creative visions in computer animated movies. With over 10 years experience working in the Animation Industry on the technical side of production, she makes easy-to-use tools for artists and supports them in their creative endeavors. In short, she makes "fancy paint brushes" for artists.Prior to consulting, Ms. Zandonella worked for over three years at LAIKA, Inc, at the genesis of its new Entertainment division, and seven years at Disney Feature Animation during its golden age. Wizard, detective, white knight, and guide are just some of the technological roles Ms. Zandonella has assumed in her career. At both companies she has written artist-focused software, created a quality assurance process, written web-based documentation, trained artists, rescued artists from rascally computers and found their lost digital art, as well as worked remotely on the East Coast and in Europe from the West Coast.
Today, Ms. Zandonella is exploring the frontiers of multi-touch interfaces, as well as consulting to various organizations and companies.
