Hi all,

I'm passing this along to see if there's anyone who might be able to help
this kind lady. I don't have the time available to take off of work so I
won't be able to.

Thanks,
Christophe

Greetings, kinde gentlefolk. I teach at Salinas High, and I am in need
of knight or two for my olde English classes. When I taught at Seaside
High years ago, I recall we had Tom Thiele (I think it was he) and
another wonderful gentleman, who shared their skills and weaponry. It
was perhaps the best lesson the kids ever had; certainly one of their
most memorable. I have since switched schools, and for awhile subject
matter; but, now I am back teaching Steinbeck's "Knights of the Round
Table." So, I am searching for a knight or two, who could come to my
classes at Salinas High--any school day and I will plan my calendar
around the visit. I cannot, unfortunately, change the class time which
is 8-10 (two periods). If the knights could come the last half of one
period and stay through the first part of the second class, then more
students could get the
experience. GATE funds would be donated and we would be so delighted
and grateful, if this could indeed happen. My cell is 261-7448; home is
455-2919, and
work is 796-7400, x3431. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank
you
for keeping these arts alive. Terri Harrison
