Calling Darkwoodians!!!!!!!!!!!

     We have an ---------------
                        Santa Cruz Equestrian Practice

We have a raindate of Nov 26th but so far it looks like it will be pretty clear.

We have an archery marshal coming out to play with us. So anyone who has been interested in learning about horse archery or just plain archery this would be a great opportunity to do so.

Additionally we will be running some timed events. With our new wireless timers we expect them to add a bit of extra competition to our sport! Oh like we need that.

Any questions call me 831-252-4275

If anyone has time to volunteer to help work the events please feel free to come out, SCA member or not! This is a great time to learn about the SCA, the Equestrian sports and the SCCHA in a welcoming environment.

SCCHA is located at 1145 Graham Hill Road

Coming from south of Santa Cruz :

Take Hwy to Santa Cruz. Stay on HWY 1 as if you were going to Half Moon Bay.
There will be a large curve that will spin you back down onto 17 before you reach Santa Cruz city. Move into the right hand lane. At the first light you are going to make a right onto Ocean Street. The street will V and you will stay to the right this will be Graham Hill Road. Continue up Graham Hill Road until you pass Sims Road. The showgrounds are on your right.

Coming from the North.

Take HWY 17 until you pass the city of Scotts Valley. After the exit to Scotts Valley ( Mt Hermon Road) you will see an exit for Sims Road. Take this exit and make an immediate left ( La Madrona Dr). At the stop sign make a right on Sims Road. Follow Sims until you reach Graham Hill Road and then make a right. You will see the showgrounds across the street.

Good horsemanship is not bought, its earned and is never sacrificed for performance.

Just a reminder: there will be no Darkwood Choir practice on November

Ball. We will resume regular practices again the following Tuesday,
November 14.
