8AM to 12PM Armor Inspection
Welcome to this years AnTir-West war scenarios. As the Holiday is
on Monday, we will be having war scenarios both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday:
10:00 AM - Their illustrious monarchs of the Kingdoms of the West
and An Tir will muster their troops and march them off to war.
Bring your unit banners and display your unit's proud colors and
listen to your King's words for the war.
10:45 AM - A Border Skirmish
Archery (IS ALLOWED) in this battle.
The peers of an army have sallied forth in an attempt to win a
war in a quick strike. However the Squires, sergeants, Men-at-arms,
and anyone else that could get to a weapon rushed out to meet the
peers.
This is a non-Kingdom Specific battle - All monarchs and peers
will face the rest of the fighters in a warm up battle. Come join
the slaughter... rather challenge to beat the best and get your
sword arms a swinging.
15 minutes to glean the arrows and allow the two Kingdoms to gather
their forces and array them for the main battles.
BATTLE Set I - set of three (3) battles 5 minutes between battles
Caught in the Open: Close Up
Archery (is NOT ALLOWED) in these battles.
The armies reconnaissance forces have found each other as the
Kings are surveying the upcoming war field. The sides engaged
quickly and closely.
Open field battles
Combatants will line up within 30 Yards of each others lines
(to better
hear the cat calls).
OBJECTIVE: Last man standing - The side which has the last man
standing in the battles is considered to have driven off the other
Royal recon unit.
15 minute break
BATTLE Set II - set of three (3) battles 5 minutes between battles
Caught in the Open: w/Range
Archery (IS ALLOWED) in these battles.
After the recon skirmishes, the Kings return to their armies,
gather their whole forces, and prepare to meet on the open plains.
Three more open field battles
ARCHERY Stipulation - There will be NO GLEANING of arrows
between the battles. Commanders and Archers must use tactics and
arrow conservation.
Combatants will line up with 100 Yards of separation (allowing
Archers
and Siege Engines to have their fun).
OBJECTIVE: Last man standing - The side which has the last man
standing in the battles is considered to have controlled the field.
15 minute break
BATTLE SET III - set of two (2) battles with a fifteen (15) minute
break (if the battle is quick this will be reduced to five (5)
minutes).
Don't let them cross
Archery (is NOT ALLOWED) in the FIRST battle.
Archery (IS ALLOWED) in the SECOND battle.
The armies meet once again at narrow spot in the river. This
vital section of the countryside is important to control. There are
dual bridges here with a fordable area between the bridges and no
where to cross for miles in either direction.
Bridge battle - w/3 total lives (2 resurrections).
Two bridges with a ford in between the bridges. Royalty,
Landed Barons, Royal peers and Chivalry are considered on horses and
may stand in the ford. All others must be on their knees. Bridges
are attackable from the ford side.
OBJECTIVE: To fully control one bridge and reach a banner on
the opposite side. Fully controlling a bridge means no opposing
fighter STANDING on the bridge.
15 minute break
BATTLE SET IV - Set of two (2) battles with a five (5) minute break
Long live the Royalty of AnTir!
Archery (is NOT ALLOWED) in the FIRST battle.
Archery (IS ALLOWED) in the SECOND battle.
The vanguard of the An Tir army is escorting the Royal family
of An Tir to a fortified encampment. The West has happened upon the
vanguard escort and is trying to seize the opportunity to capture
and ransom members of the Royal family.
Broken Field Battle.
Any Royalty upon the field that wishes to be a part of the
battle MUST bring a banner to mark them. King, Queen, Royal
Highnesses, Prince & Princesses that have a banner can be captured.
Each member with a banner must stay within 5' (feet) of the banner.
Slaying the banner bearer will cause that royalty to pause until a
new person bears the banner. So Royalty, bring lots of guardsmen to
protect you and take up your banner if needed.
The ONLY banners on the field will be markers for the An Tir
Royalty.
TO CAPTURE: The royalty must surrender to your forces.
Participating royalty do not count leg blows (thus they can always
walk). When a member of the Royalty takes a killing blow, they are
not killed, but can no longer fight. They can still walk with their
banner. Thus, kill the banner bearers to slow them down and destroy
their guards to overwhelm them and cause them to surrender.
OBJECTIVE: Each Royalty/banner is worth one (1) point. The
Royalty must make it through the opposing sides to reach a marked
flag on the opposite side (there will be a couple of markers to
spread the defense). Each Royal that makes it to a flag counts as 1
point for An Tir. Each Royal captured counts as 1 point for the
West. Object is to score more points.
15 minute break
BATTLE SET V - Set of two (2) battles with a five (5) minute break
Long live the Royalty of West!
Archery (is NOT ALLOWED) in the FIRST battle.
Archery (IS ALLOWED) in the SECOND battle.
The vanguard of the Western army is escorting the Royal family
of the WEST to a fortified encampment. An Tir has happened upon the
vanguard escort and is trying to seize the opportunity to capture
and ransom members of the Royal family.
Broken Field Battle.
<Same rules and Objectives as above>

A time of games has been declared by the two Kings. The armies
gather upon the field to watch the champions fight. However the

inevitable that a fight will break out as the fighters with to join
the game.
The armies will gather and form a circle. An Tir will form one
1/2 the circle, the West the other 1/2. 10 feet will separate the
wings of each army.
Each King will pick 5 champions to fight:
Sword and Shield - 9' Spear - Great Sword - 5' or less
mass weapon - Heavy Archer.
The champions will fight one after the other. After the 5
champions have fought, the Kings will meet in the circle (the armies
will now put on their helms and stand). When one of the Kings wins,
the armies will then engage.
OBJECTIVE: Last side standing owns the field.

Kings. To determine the new owner, each Monarch has agreed to send
a unit of champions out on the field to fight for this prize.
