[Darkwood-SCA] Darkwood A&S to all Bards

[The MOMstable]

The Bard of the Oaks Competition will take place Saturday Evening of
Darkwood Arts & Sciences.  Participants will compete in 3 categories.

1. A period piece or piece in a period style
2. A masterwork, either original or piece that showcases personal
strengths
3. an original piece composed on site, topic to be announced on Satuday
morning.

Baroness' whim - One of the 3 pieces must be humorous

Performance pieces can be songs, poems, prose or music

The victor of the competition will serve as Bard of the Oaks to the
Barony of Darkwood.  The requirement is to perform at minimum at
Baroness' Masked Ball, White Sheild, and Darkwood A&S and at any other
occasion that the Baron and Baroness request.  Also responsible to run
competition for successor at the Next Darkwood A&S.

Baron Erick and Baroness Liesel are hoping for a variety of styles and
entertainments for this year competition.
