Greetings Brigit,
I am most interested in SCA rapier practice and have dropped by the Rockrigde
BART station a couple of times however there was no rapier practice at those
times.
I see by the thread copied below that there may be practice in or near Santa
Cruz.
Would you be so kind as to forward any additional information regarding
rapier practice in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area?
Best wishes and well met,
Tom

Ok--so now the Santa Cruz rapier practice is once more "legal." I invite
anyone interested to stop by and check out what we are up to. Practice
starts at more or less 7pm with bouting if there is anyone who wants to do
that and then class starts at 8pm and lasts for about an hour, sometimes
more if we need to work on things. Then it's bouting again and individual
work with me for those who want it until 10pm or sooner if we are all tired.
You don't have to be a fencer to stop by and say hello!
I am considering naming the rapier practice. The name I like best so far is
the "Del Mar School of Defence."
Thanks to Rhys for his kind invitation for the West Kingdom fencers to join
everyone at White Shield this year. Unfortunately, I had only one
interested person, so we'll have to give it a pass this year.
However, I hope we are invited once more next year. With more advance
planning, I'm sure I can generate more interest.
