Using XTI over NetBIOS

When you write a client or server application using XTI
to run over a NetBIOS transport provider, you use the same functions as you would for any other transport provider, except:

• All NetBIOS providers support the same transport address syntax. For more information, see ``NetBIOS names and addresses''.

• Some of the functions behave in special ways when used to access a NetBIOS provider. For more information, see ``How XTI functions behave differently over NetBIOS''.
