Using Mail

When you start Mail, the Mailbox window displays a list of mail messages that are in your mailbox (the message list). The easiest way to select a message to read is to click on it in the message list.

If you wish to see Desktop reminders when you receive new mail, see ``Setting mail and calendar reminders'' in Using the Graphical Calendar.

Use the Mail program to:

display different messages in the message list
create and send your own messages
reply to messages you receive
forward them to other users
save your messages
delete messages you have read and responded to
print messages on a printer

There are also a variety of ways you can customize Mail.
