Using Help
Chapter 1, Getting help

Using the window history list

Using the window history list

Each time you start a SCOhelp window, that window creates a list of visited topics (or window ``history''). You can open the history list and use the history to revisit topics previously visited. For example, start your help session at the SCO Documentation Library. Click on the Operating System Documentation to open the UNIX operating system section of the library. Now click on the System Administration Guide. When the Table of Contents appears, select "Chapter 1: Administering user accounts".

To view your window's history, from the Navigate menu, select History. The window history list resembles the following:

SCO Documentation Library
Operating System Documentation
Operating System Administrator's Guide
Chapter 1: Administering User Accounts

To move to any previous point in your window's history, either double-click on the topic you wish to revisit or select the topic you wish to revisit and click on Go To.
