The Applications directory can be used for
programs that you choose to install.
Examples of application programs that you may
want to install include
spreadsheets, databases, and word
processors.
In addition, after you double-click on the Applications icon,
you will see the Merge and
Wabi icons in the Applications
window.
If the SCO Merge software is installed, invoking
it enables DOS
and Windows applications to run directly on a
SCO system.
If the SCO Wabi software is installed, invoking it allows
you to run Microsoft® Office and Lotus SmartSuite
on your desktop.
If the Merge or Wabi
application is not installed, invoking it brings
up a screen with installation and licensing information.
