Managing files
In this chapter, you will learn more about files and
directories. You will learn how to use a paging program to
read long files screen by screen, and you will learn about
two utilities to look at the very top and the very bottom
of a file. You will also learn how to make directories,
how to remove directories, and how to copy, move, and
remove files.
Before you begin, you should know what a file is and what a
directory is. You should also know how to tell what
directory you are in, how to change directories, and how to
list files.
