Adding modems
Modems enable you to communicate over phone lines with remote systems.
NOTE:
The UUCP package must have been installed on your system to support
modem connections whether these are used with cu, UUCP,
SLIP or PPP.
Use the Software Manager or
custom(ADM)
to install this package if necessary.
