Guide to Gateways for LAN Servers
Chapter 2, Using SCO Gateway for NetWare

Logging out of one NetWare server

Logging out of one NetWare server

NOTE: You must remain logged into the NetWare file server until all your outstanding NetWare print jobs are ``queued remotely'', meaning that the print jobs are transferred to the NetWare print queue. Otherwise, your print jobs will be lost.

In the NetWare Access Manager window, log out of one server by selecting the server name and then clicking on Logout. Upon logging out, (assuming that autologin is disabled, the default condition, see ``Autologin'' for more information) you are warned of outstanding NetWare print jobs which are not yet remotely queued and you have the option of canceling the logout.

You can also log out from the command line. For example nwlogout dakar logs you out of server dakar. See nwlogout(NWG) for complete details.

Before logging out of a NetWare server, you may decide to ensure that your outstanding print jobs, if any, are queued remotely. You can do this from the Desktop or from the command line.
