lp options for SCO Gateway for NetWare print jobs
Some lp options behave differently when used to submit
a SCO Gateway for NetWare print job. They are:
- -m
-
Send mail after the print job is transferred to the remote
NetWare print queue,
not after the print job is printed.
- -q
-
Assign this print job a user-specified priority in the local
queue, rather than the remote queue.
- -S
-
NetWare does not support the specification of character sets,
forms and print wheels.
- -w
-
Write a message on the user's terminal after the print job is
transferred
to the NetWare print queue, not after the print job is printed.
- -R
-
Remove files after remotely queuing the print job, not after printing it.
- -o
-
nobanner is supported, while
stty, lpi, cpi, length and
width are ignored. Other -o options include:
- nobanner

Do not print any banner pages.
- nwclientbanner

Do not create a banner on the NetWare server.
Create a banner on the UNIX system and print the banner on NetWare.
- nw2banners

Create two banner pages: one on the UNIX system and one on NetWare. Both banner pages
will be printed on NetWare.
- nwclientcopies

Make multiple copies on the UNIX system which will be printed on NetWare.
- nwformfeed

Append a form feed at the end of the SCO Gateway for NetWare print job.
