Starting/stopping LMC

You can have LMC started automatically by making init(M) invoke the shell script /etc/rc2.d/S87lmc when the system is brought up to multiuser mode (run level 2). This is normally configured automatically during installation.

To stop LMC on a machine, log in as

root and enter the following command:

/usr/bin/lmc stop

LMC is shut down automatically when the system is taken to run levels 0, 1 or 6. You can also start LMC from the command line if you do not want it started automatically.
