A client can mount a filesystem in three different ways:
automatic mounting at system start
A client can include a list of exported files in its
/etc/default/filesys file. At client boot time,
the client automatically mounts these files. When the
client shuts down, it automatically unmounts these files.
administrator manual mounting
The system administrator of a client machine can manually
mount exported files at any time using the
mount(ADM)
command.
user manual mounting
The system administrator of a client machine can
configure the machine to allow users to
mount exported files when they need access to them.
