These parts (TMS2516's) are extinct. We had to travel to a distant land to 
find the last of these rare species of eprom's too. When these are gone, 
well...... They're gone. Nobody is making these anymore. Everybody that does 
claim to have some of these, probably has pulls. These aren't used. They're
actually new! Hmm. Now there's a rarity! 

The TMS2516JL-45 is the same exact part as the well know Intel type D2716, 
although they're worth a bit more. 

Texas Intruments did make a TMS2716, but it used 3 different voltages at once 
to run it (like the TMS2708 and D2708) which was different than the 2716 that
everybody else made. 

Engineers not knowing this were getting mad because TI had confused the issue 
on what was a 2716. So....TI got with the program and made a standard 2716. 
They had to name it something different than 2716 to differentiate it from the 
fateful TMS2716. Thus we have the TMS2516!

(Weird, eh!!??)
