IronAss '96 - GrandCanyon ride


Hello everyone!


We had a dinner meeting to plan this trip and here is what was more or less decided..


Leave Thursday May 16th @Lam Research, meet at building CA4 by 5 pm
Drive as far as posibble along the specified route (more or less)
The route is as follows: Drive down 101 to 152 and cut over to 99 continue to 58 which becomes 40 (hopefully we will make it this far the first night)
Friday morning, pack up from whatever cheap hotel we end up in and make our way to the South side of the canyon via 64.
Hopefully we will make it there and be able to get a short view that night, then get another hotel and and have a final view in the morning (Sat) then off to Vegas for Saturday. In this part of the ride we may want to do a short bit of 66 just to say we did it.
Sunday morning pack up and head home. The route will be by ear as we dont know how long our "asses" will make it
Monday morning hopefully we will be back at work, however you may want to plan on having it as a day off (sick day?) due to pain recuperation
