1 cup walnut halves
2 cloves garlic
3-4 Tbs tahina (sesame) paste
Juice of 2 lemons
4 Tbs flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Salt
Grind the walnuts and garlic in a blender or a mortar, until the mixture has reached a coarse paste. Mix the tahina paste with the lemon juice, a little bit of the juice at a time, blending until a light cream is formed. Mix in the walnuts, adding water if needed to make a light paste. Add salt if needed. Mix in the chopped parsley.
