County Fairgrounds, Ventura, CA (7/17-7/18/82)

Now I had become a vendor too. I stayed at Ernie's in Santa Barbara, and Ernie, Scabe, and I had another great surf session before the first show. We went to Santa Clara Rivermouth, and it was excellent. Then off to the show, I had made some stickers that I would sell for $1, or trade. The trading was actually more fun, because you could see what other people had also. I got some nice artwork, my Tarot cards read, and beers and food. All in all, a very enjoyable time. For the second show, I met up with my friend Mark, who was also vending. He made some cool T-shirts, that sold real fast and we had "room to move". The vending success inspired me to go on for Red Rocks.
