Rocket Engine Accident - Bandaged Arms

Bandaged Arms

4 days after the accident (March 14th). My left arm was burned and had a large patch of skin stripped off, presumably by a piece of metal that flew parallel to it. The splinted finger had a tendon cut by a piece of metal that became embedded in my hand. The tendon was stitched by the ER doctor, but he didn't realize that the shrapnel was still in my hand and sewed my hand up with the piece still in it. The tendon of my right pinky was also cut by a piece of metal, but not enough to stitch/splint. There were 12 stitches total.
