This is where I was lying when the quake hit. The monitor was on the shelf, only a foot off the ground, and wasn't hurt when it leapt off, but I had just put an expensive new glare screen on it a few days before and it ended up with a nasty mar on it that made it unusable. The bottle of window cleaner in the closet broke and damaged some stuff it spilled on, including some slides I had selected for printing.
