Our 6th year making instant ice cream on the playa. I usually make 2 gallons each day. But this year, Thursday and Friday were windy and dusty and not especially hot, so no ice cream was made until Saturday, when all of the ice cream making conditions were greatly improved. We made 5 gallons of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream, and lots of root beer floats.
