Burning Man 1997 - Flamethrower Setup

Flamethrower Setup

How it works: The pipe section on the ground is an air accumulator. It's filled through the blue air line from a compressor. Gasoline is poured down the diagonal pipe and settles at the bottom. The propane torch pilot light at the top is lit. Then a solenoid valve between the accumulator and the launch pipe is electrically opened (via the brown cable on the ground). The air blasts the gasoline out past the pilot light... WHOOMPH!
