Subject: Scorched Earth Party: An inspirational message. From: jvogel@math.rutgers.edu (jeff vogel) Organization: Rutgers Univ., New Brunswick, N.J. Date: 11 Mar 94 00:45:51 GMT A guy chopped off his finger in front of his state capitol a few days ago, to protest leniency against crime. He refused, of course, to allow the finger to be reattached. When interviewed, he made sure to reassure the teeming millions that it "didn't hurt." It is the knowledge that there are people who really care, who are willing to do anything, even really stupid things, and sacrifice anything, even things that really didn't need to be sacrificed, who are so lost in a haze of psychosis that they are willing to do ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL to change the world in which they live, that keeps me going. Excuse me while I wipe away a tear. I'm going to go wait until the latest showing of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective lets out, and then beat one of the attendees to death with a lead pipe. I will be an inspiration to you all. - Jeff Vogel Scorched Earth Party
