there was some sort of event, the details of which have now faded, but I think it was like a big flea market. And someone came up to me and said he was giving away ammo in various standard calibers. So I went over to the car where he said it was. The trunk was open and sure enough, boxes of ammo filled it. My former Armory housemate Ford was there as well. We rooted about in the trunk and suddenly I found a box of 40mm grenades. Next to it was a box of what looked like ammo for 2.75" helicopter rocket pods. At first I was excited-- free military hardware, even though I lack the weaponry to fire it from-- but then Ford and I looked at each other and came to the realization that this was a Homeland Security trap. We'd pick this stuff up and take it home and five minutes later there'd be a knock on our door. Welcome to search and seizure, please drive through. So we put it all back in the trunk and got the hell out of there.
