I was a German teacher-- that is, I taught German. I had four colored suits that I wore, one for each of the four cases-- Nominativ, Objectiv, Genitive, and Dativ. The Dativ suit was blue. Carmel and I lived in a house of stacked cubes that were like a 3D Mondrian painting, with lots of light all through it. Carmel would always help me pick out the right suit for the day but she always rolled her eyes about the whole thing.
