I was at a gaming convention and I was running a game but I was ill-prepared for it and it was game time. All the players were there and I was handing out half-completed character sheets and still writing up a bunch of notes about the enemy still and finishing up the maps. So I'm writing notes about the threats they'll be facing and such, and I have TONS of writing down to do still but the game has to get underway, and then the worst realization hit me: I haven't written ANY of the MUSIC yet, I have an opening theme and a chase theme and a couple of combat themes to compose still, so I hastily pull out staff paper and start jotting a lead line and some real quick basso continuo across the bottom...
