The Rhapsody project slipped again, two more weeks, and my immune system finally collapsed. I got deathly ill, to the point of needing hospitalization, but I had to be at work so they flew in a team of doctors on call for me. Everywhere I went at work, I was surrounded by a team administering IVs and monitoring my condition.

The problem was that I had too much water in my system so they gave me an intravenous emetic-- I was puking up pure water constantly, so everything we worked on had to be covered in plastic to protect it.

And instead of reviewing code diffs we were reviewing comics art changes, and instead of worrying about header file dependencies we were concerned about impact on dialogue.
