I was working Monty Python on a show at the Merced College theater. The audience-left side of the theater had a balcony/mezzanine level with stairs. John Cleese played the Generalissimo; he was holding a beagle off the ground by its tail. I was dressed as an old lady. There was a public announcement: "Parts of this performance were recorded with break-away sets."
