12 July 1989

I was a reporter. So was Lois Lane. She was interviewing Lex Luthor while I was sneaking around outside. I went past a nursery; the nurse was Indian and there four kids-- three girls and a boy. I snuck over to the parlor; he was getting suggestive with Lois. "You should really consider taking up either drugs or alcohol abuse as a serious habit."

A dark shadow crosses to the kids' room. Lex opens the glass door, behind which I am hiding. Lois leaves. Lex spots me, grabs me and nearly breaks my neck. He that I was the shadow, which apparently had killed his previous family and was now after him and his new kids.

I convince him that I was the one who was keeping it at bay. He thanks me, hugs me with tears in his eyes, and invites me in.

Somehow, my old house in Merced was part of his penthouse. He has his butler take the four kids north, to Merced; apparently, we were actually in Los Angeles.

But his kids show up possessed-- well, two of them, the boy and one girl. They are zombie-like. I fight them off with a fly swatter. It's 6 AM; the sun will be up soon. From many horror films, I know this means the dead things will have to go away.

The girl gets a gun from my room. Something starts moving in the garage.
