For only the nth time in recent memory a room is opening
up at The Armory!
What does it cost?
- $720/month for rent
- Utilities, which have averaged $90/mo. over the last year
- A deposit of $100
To move in, you need first, last, and the deposit, but this is negotiable if
it's a problem.
What do you get?
- A room at the longest-existent geek house in Santa Cruz (that we know of!)
- The use of a dozen or so login points throughout the house.
- An account on the house UNIX system,
deepthought.armory.com
- An Ethernet jack in your room, giving you access to our 1Mbps full-time
SDSL Internet connection.
- Half a 'fridge to yourself.
Your housemates would be:
John IV is Irene and John's son, born in January 2005.
Obviously, you need to be OK with sharing a house with an infant!

The house pets are down to:
We do not want any cats or dogs.
Pets in terrariums, aquariums, cages, etc. are OK.
The room is for an individual only (no couples).

The Armory is located on McMillan Drive, off of Nobel Drive, off of Bay Street,
near the base of the UCSC campus.
Other details:
No smokers.
