[Unitedwespeak] Meeting this Friday & Speaking Competition

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

This Friday, June 4th, 2004, we will be meeting at 315 Montgomery St., 15th Floor Conference Room at 12 noon.  

All roles are open, so please volunteer to fill a role.

Also, the Team Bank of America Pacific/Southwest Region Speaking Competition will be held on Sept 24, 2004 in Phoenix, AZ.  The theme for this event is:  Embracing Higher Standards.   We will hold a club contest to select one speaker to represent United We Speak at the Regional Competition.   Any associate member of United We Speak is eligible.  Our club contest will be on July 16 (3rd Friday at 315 Montgomery) or July 23 (4th Friday at 1455 Market).   I highly encourage you all consider giving a speech for our club contest.  Please send me your "vote" on your preferred date for the club contest, July 16th or July 23rd.
