I wanted to forward this on to all club members, in case you haven't seen it anywhere else.  Special congratulations to Susan Sanders-Wong, who not only helps keep this club going, but was recognized as you will see in the note below.
 
Also, I would like to note that the Golden Gate chapter of Team Bank of America was recognized as national distinguished, which means that officers did their part to complete the Team Bank of America training.  Thanks to all officers for your efforts, probably in spite of my encouragement :)

Hello everyone,
 
The year-end Team Bank of America awards were announced today.  We're proud to say that our Golden Gate Team won several of them - here they are!
 
Innovative Program of the Year Award - given to our Volunteer Network for its On Lok Day of Caring event; coordinated by Susie Sanders-Wong
Recreation Network of the Year - given to our Recreation Network, co-chaired by Joie Zabarte and Wendy Fletcher
Honorable Mention for Volunteer Network of the Year - given to our Volunteer Network, co-chaired by Susie Sanders-Wong and Bonny Garcia-Morla
 
In addition, for the second year in a row, we earned the title of National Distinguished Team.  Yay!  Can we say three-peat (you can tell we're thinking of next year already)!
