We would like the District officers to ride and spread good cheer. We will decorate with blue and gold streamers. This is a first for District Four so plan on coming and joining the fun. We may get on TV. What a wonderful promotion coo! If you want to have your own vehicle then you will need to pay $30. entry. There is no charge for you walking, running or skipping. Let's all make an effort to join the parade. Please rsvp to me or Remy Riborozo at Email: Aloharemyrib@hotmail com or Shirl: Zealandab@aol.com It was suggested that some of you might like to meet in a park afterwards. Not knowing San Francisco that well I will leave that up to Remy to decide. If you have any suggestions for promoting this we would like to hear from you. Shirl P.S. If you no longer hold this office you are invited in any case it is for all toastmasters, friends and family. Go to unsubscribe at the bottom of the page if you wish to be removed from the yahoo group and forward message to the new officer. One of the requirements of an Evalaution contest is a test speaker. The test speaker gives a standard 5-7 minute Toastmaster speech, which is then evaluated by the Evaluation contest participants. Please note that, as you will have a Toastmasters evaluator, you could use this opportunity to complete another speech toward your CTM. Rhinoceros Business club is having their evaluation contest on Tuesday, August 26, beginning at 6:30. They are asking around for a test speaker. This is an excellent club, and they always provide food, so it would be a good experience. If any one is interested, please get in touch with the contest chair, William Song, at 415-386-0506. Also let me know. We may be able to supply some supporters to go with you :) Bob From Bob.Sipp at bankofamerica.com Fri Aug 15 11:04:28 2003 From: Bob.Sipp at bankofamerica.com (Sipp, Bob) Date: Fri Aug 15 10:05:40 2003 Subject: [Unitedwespeak] REMINDER: our competition to represent United We Speak at the 2003 Western Region Speaking Competition Message-ID: <07AE6B07E7E26E44B1DFA549DA6B01AD8BB23C@ex2k.bankofamerica.com> My fellow Toastmasters, Just a reminder - today is the day for our contest to choose our club representative to the Western Region Speaking Competition, which will be held in Las Vegas next month.
