It was the First Crawdad Fest, and it was Arthur's third birthday. I
was reading Curious George to Arthur, and singing Arthur In The Sky
With Giggles.

It doesn't seem all that long ago, but since then I've written two
books and held two jobs; Arthur is 18 today, has flown across the
country (to the Democratic National Convention!) by himself, runs
various high school activities quite well, and is in the midst of the
college application process.

I miss the Crawdad Festivals, and little kids, and an active home-ed
(which I've been on since before Arthur was born) ... but life is
change, and the Shemitz/Tachyons are pretty happy right now.
