Even at parties, when people tell stories, a little back story is
needed to condition the listener into an understanding of the general
flow of events. He said this, then she said that, and then I said, for
example. In written conversation, confusion is rampant because we
cannot see the people talking, their subtle facial expressions,
tonality, etc. We literally read between the lines. With 100's of junk
emails flooding in daily (for some) this confusion escalates. Within
reason, I prefer a one page email complete with all of the back and
forth. <br>

analogy, because people don't repeat everything that
was said before they speak in a conversation.
I have a *thing* about people bellowing into their
cellphones in crowded public places too -- just
another example of me being unreasonable, I guess.
