In the last segment Joe 'gets absorbed' into his girlfriend's
tattoo, enters its world. The tattoo is impossibly complex. I
noticed for the first time that Joe dreams that Justine's hand has the
same tattoo in 'Justine' at 34:40.
The story of sex on a yacht is very different from that in
'The Queen of Puerto Rico'.
Joe got a lot of action his first day.
Let me know if you got this twice.

0:45: Joe's 15, vacationing on San Marcos island in the
Caribbean on New Year's Eve. (No San Marcos island in the Caribbean)
Donna, a girl from Babylon, Long Island likes him, kisses him,
french-kisses him, gives him a hand-job and her phone number
4:00: An island girl, a prostitute, Jasmine, sees him at the
market, takes him up to her room, gives him a blow-job for free.
('We'll do it for love.')
8:10: At a 'gala dinner' that evening Mrs Brickman, mother of
his friend Buddy, comes up to his room, has sex with him. Buddy shows
up after and punches him.
18:40: Nursing a black eye at the bar afterwards Reid, a ship
salvager, befriends him, takes him out to his yacht, plies him with
marijuana, gets him stoned, 'I heard him come in, and felt him lie
down next to me, naked, and the last thing I remember is the sensation
of his lips on the back of my neck.' (Joe tells a similar story in
'The Queen of Puerto Rico').
31:10: Joe describes the shacks of poor island people.
	32:10: Random dial-a-prayers, some Christmas-themed. (Joe
airs dial-a-prayers in 'Prayer', different ones.)
37:20: Dr Riegert tells Joe the operation was unsuccessful,
will have to be repeated, then tells Joe about his ex-wife.
38:10: Joe describes Christmas at the hospital.
39:10: Joe flies to Paraguay, takes a job as a translator.
(Joe goes to Paraguay in 6 other episodes.)
39:40: 'Just look at this, "Carpenter creates living thing
from tree stump."'
39:50: Joe tells us how happy he is, plays 3 noisemakers.
(originally aired in 'Tomorrow')
41:40: Joe goes to a department store, tests a mattress by
falling asleep on it, has a dream of a fair and peaceful world.
43:50: Joe describes the day room at a retirement home, thinks
how all the people used to be children.
45:20: Joe welcomes us to life, tells us there's a time for
everything. (A bit like a parody Ecclesiastes) He offers us a glass
of urine. (In a live version he also offers a beaker of shit.)
48:40: Joe becomes absorbed into his girlfriend's tattoo 'of a
dusty road leading to a farmhouse with a peaked roof, a red chimney,
gingham curtains in the windows, a little girl sitting on a swing that
hung from one of the branches of a spreading chestnut tree...' (In
'Justine' Joe dreams that her hand has this tattoo, but he doesn't get
absorbed into it.)  He lives on nuts and berries in the forest;
starving, he goes into town, but there's no work, so he ends up at the
mission.
