Whoa now--come on, guys, nobody said anything like that. Who knows
what's really going on? By listening to shows like Terminal, we've
come to know that Joe has had some health issues in the past, but
Bob's message isn't implying that the man is gravely ill. I sure hope
not, but let's send him some care packages anyway.

I'm going to listen to the most recent shows at JoeFrank.com now to
see what I've missed this past month...

First of all: Joe is not "f**king d*y*n**g," as Bob Lee puts it so gently,
and Marek can note the apparent irony of his in-disposition without being
brutalized by Lee in his really disgusting way. Joe will be home soon and,

ofcourse, would appreciate cards and letters. But no black roses, Bob Lee.

Thanks for clarifying for us, Larry. (Love your work, by the way--or
your life, or however you wish to refer to it. Life's work?) By the
way, I'm not certain it was Bob who expressed Joe's illness so
provocatively; I believe it was Marek. In any case, please give Joe
our blessings.

Yeah, I don't think it was Bob that said that. I'll be working on a note
for Joe this afternoon and of course hope he gets well soon. Thanks for
the info.

My sincere apology to Bob Lee, who I MISTAKENLY thought had uttered the
"f**king d**ng" epithet, which I now know was gifted to us by a clown named
Tim.
Bob Lee is a great man and a great and loyal fan and for me to even for a
moment impune his loyalty and integrity was a terrible thing. Larry Block

Larry, you are seriously a bastard. (Also a poet and a scholar, but
that's another story...)

Just kidding, of course. (Not about the poet thing, though).

Joe Frank will never die. Of course, one day (many, many years from now,
Allah willing), he will depart this mortal realm, in a physical sense... as
will
we all. But the Soul of Joe Frank will live on forever....

For now, he has the prayers and well-wishes of the legions of people he's
touched over the years to help him through whatever hurdles he's being
confronted
with. Never underestimate the power of positive thinking, or the impact it
can have on those in need!

Grandiniamo Joe Frank L'immortale!

Wait a minute. Is that confirmed? If so, that is
horrible news, worse than I'd thought.

Can someone confirm that?

(By the way, not that this is important concerning the
topic of the message, but you guys REALLY need to
learn how to trim your messages.)

Dear loyal and new listeners of Joe Frank,

I have been meaning to create something like this for quite a very long
time,
and it would seem very appropriate to get it started immediately now.

I have set up an 888 voicemail number with unlimited minutes for listeners
to
call and leave messages/anecdotes along the lines of:

-how Joe's program has touched your life, good or bad
-how you've come to hear of Joe's work
-how Joe has created some meaning or void in your life
-etc etc, though any comments/ponderings are welcome

My goal was and still is to compile these and mix them with Joe's droning
ambience muse and make it freely available to both Joe and fans, with the
sole
purpose of showing how much Joe has indeed influenced our lives-- good and
bad.

In light of recent news, there is also an option to choose for those who
would
like to leave a get well message for Joe. These specific messages will be
forwarded to the Joe Frank team of www.joefrank.com and therefore be made
available to Joe himself.

This is not to detract from cards or letters you plan on sending to him, but
to
add another format of communication, a format we are all too familiar with
from
his shows. And who knows, maybe it is cathartic to light a match and watch
and
smell the flames engulf the letters in a studio.

So feel free to call 24/7: 1-888-220-7523*

Bob deux

*Note: This is created by me, a long time listener of Joe Frank. I am not
affiliated with him or www.joefrank.com in any other way, shape, or form.
