Subject: [joe-frank-list] shows on CD
Message-ID: <BAY2-F46TijlqzUrIz80000daec@hotmail.com>

I haven't seen much activity lately........Has anyone besides me been
purchasing shows from the Joe Frank website??? I have done several orders
and have been very pleased.

The new show "Plerophory of Pain" is quite interesting.

Although it would be nice if they were less costly, in the scheme of things
it is no worse than a new music CD is these days. I get much more enjoyment
from Joe's shows than 90% of the new music CD's that I buy. And I'm sure
that production costs are quite high for his shows, so he has to recover the
outlay.

Order some shows and maybe we'll have some new material coming our way
soon.......Roger

I'm interested in pitching some ideas to Joe, and would love to have him
look at some material.

I think that Mr. Frank has more than enough material of his own to juggle, &
it is doubtful that he has the time to sit there and sift through other
peoples manuscripts & such, but if you feel the need to "pitch" your ideas to him,
why not try contacting him through his website? I'm sure that they can forward
your proposals to him from there.

?Sola nel mondo eterna, a cui si volve
Ogni creata cosa,
In te, morte, si posa
Nostra ignuda natura;
Lieta no, ma sicura
Dell? antico dolor . . .
Per? ch? esser beato
Nega ai mortali e nega a? morti il fato.?

Which program was it where he rants about people sending him scripts and
tapes of Joe Frank-style material -- "this is not the Hymie Kaplan
spielfest!" -- and symbolically burns all mail listeners send him?

I own a cafe in Jefferson Valley, NY, upper westchester... I'm thinking
about having a monthly joe frank-a-thon or something like that... anyone
in the area interested in hanging out in a group, sort of like an
audience.. listening to Joe Frank CDs and drinking really good cappuccino?

It's Iceland part 2 of 2. Right at the beginning he starts the rant.

I have been working on doing something similar here in the Athens/Atlanta
area of Georgia, except that I am thinking of having Joe Frank shows between
sets of live music. I am still working on getting the right mix of artists,
etc. We'll see if it works as well as I hope it will.
