And there are prizes for both Heavy and Rapier fighters!

I'll be there to run the rapier portion of the tourney, so come on out
and get some last minute playing in before Estrella! (Let me hear
from you if you are coming! It will help me plan the fun to know how
many to expect. Thanks!)

Just a reminder: the "Evening of Renaissance Dance" demo at Stanford is
this evening. Come and have fun with us. We will be teaching the
dances to all who wish to learn them. Play music, dance, or just mill
around and be a great advertisement for the SCA.

Free Footlockers.

I have a 16 or so footlockers I need to get rid of. It occurred to me that they'd be good for armor storage, or with a little work could be dressed up to look period.

They are in pretty good condition. None to my knowledge have keys, but they do have latches and all are unlocked. I need to get rid of them soon. please e-mail me if your interested. And I'll bring them to the Thursday night Santa Cruz fighter practice. I can only fit 5 or 6 in my car, but if there is enough interest, I can borrow a truck.

Thank you for sharing your footlockers you don't need. If there are any
left, you might bring some to put in the auction at White Shield.
We have 2 for camping. 1 is our kitchen box the other is our food
locker. We lined it with sleeping mats ,then found a small ice chest that
fits in there nicely. So we have space for the things that need to be cold
and space for food that doesn't need to be cold. They also make a nice
place to sit. Use it as a footlocker at the end of your bed for your
clothing. Very period. A little paint, you have it.
Thanks for letting me throw out some ideas for people.

Foot Lockers:

I've received only a hand full of e-mails about the foot lockers, less intrest than I'd hoped, but have been able to find most of them homes anyway. I have seven or so left, and will be bringing what i can fit into my car to fighter practice tonight.

  Thanks all.
