Thank you all for your quick responses.

Here is a little bit of information about me and where I am at. I am now
living in Colorado Springs, CO, which is in the Barony of Dragonsspine in
the Kingdom of the Outlands. I have been back in the SCA for a little over
2 years. Since I have started playing again, I am now a Squire to Sir
Alaric, a very nice gentleman. I have been a Baronial Archery Deputy for
little over a year and a half, have autocrated my version of the Wargy,
which did not have the attendance that I was looking for but everyone had a
blast. Hopefully, I will be able to convince our Seneschal to make it into
a camping event for us. I am still trying to get this kingdom to fight in
wars other than Estrella. WARS ARE FUN!!!

I am dating a fabulous woman who is a Duchess of the Outlands, Duchess Mina,
and she is also a Laurel so I have a great set of Russian Garb coming my
way. I finally was able to get my dream helmet of a Roman Type G with a
lifting visor. It fits far better than my old Viking Helm that some of you
may remember from 10 years ago. It still looks as rusty as it did back
then. :-)

I am planning on being at Estrella this year as long as my money allows it.
Hopefully, I will see some of you there as well.

As for the questions about my name registration, I chose my name as Duncan
of Darkwood because 10 years ago, I was told by a Herald that I can choose
that name and that there would be no problem. I talked with a Herald here
in Dragonsspine about a year or so ago and she told me that there was no
problem with my name choice. She has since stepped down and the new Herald,
who I am good friends with, is the one requesting that I come up with the
documentation for the name of Darkwood.

I am going to print all of the emails that everyone has sent me and
hopefully she may realize that Darkwood is a region in the SCA.

Again, thank you so much for all of the helpful information...

Duncan
