Hail and well met archers of the West Kingdom!
I have good news and bad news--which do you want first?
Ok--the bad news--no combat archery at Mist/Cynagua War. The sight
will not allow it--I was informed by both Princes this weekend at
Purg.
Now for the good news!
His Highness of Cynagua and His Highness of the Mist have issued a
challenge to the archers of both principalities-a contest of skill!
They have decreed that the archers of each principality will engage
in a competition for a war point to be awarded at Twelfth Night.
The competition will run from September 3rd until midnight January
5th (the Friday before 12th Night.)
Rules:
1.Archers will shoot Royal Rounds for score----RR from IKAC will also
count.
2.All forms of bows (crossbows, recurve, long, hun, horse, magyar)
will compete as the same class (one class)
3.There will be two divisions; child and adult
4.The best average principality score in each division wins
5.In the case of tie (for example: one principality wins the adult
and the other wins the child)- a tie will be broken by the
principality that had the most archers participate in the challenge
(number of archers that submitted a score)
6.Scores only count if they are witnessed by another West Kingdom
archer
7.Submit scores to Dauid ap Morgant Dinefwr at Dunvegann at yahoo.

post on the West Kingdom Archery Yahoo Board.
When submitting your score, include the name of your witness (they
must be a fellow West Kingdom archer). No witness, no score.
A weekly tally will be posted to this board, the West Kingdom board
and on the westkingdomarchery.com website.
