Join us for our annual Fall Revel as we celebrate survival of our Midterms.
Site Fee: There is no site fee, but donations are welcome at the gate.

Schedule: Revelry from 3pm-6:30pm. Site closes at 7pm.

Autocrat: Please contact Justin Thomasson if you have items to display, talents
to entertain the populace, or any questions about this event.


Competitions & Activities:

Medieval Dancing lessons
"No BLEEP, There I Was" contest
Performance of an assortment of songs of the Middle Ages
Demos of Chain Mail Construction and other Medieval Arts & Crafts
Displays of Medieval Arts & Sciences created by local artists


The Feast: Well, it's more of a pot luck, really. St. Davids will be providing
chicken on a first come first serve basis, and the populace will bring
everything else.

Things to Bring:

Consumables to share (see site restrictions)
Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Appetizers
Side dishes
Salad
Bread
Feast gear (no plates, cups, utensils, etc. will be provided)
Table cloths & decorations


Site Restrictions: As the College of St. David is a member of SOAR and the event
is being held on UCSC campus, certain restrictions apply:

All cooked or prepared food must be bought at a UCSC vendor and remain unopened
until you arrive at the feast. The Following are on the Approved Vendor list
for UCSC:

Albertsons Deli & Bakery
COSTCO
Safeway Food Deli & Bakery
(We hope to add more later)


Directions to the Site: Porter College Dining Hall, UCSC (see Map of Porter
College)

>From San Jose: (see map) Take your best route to Hwy17. Go south on Hwy17 South
to Santa Cruz. At the outskirts of Santa Cruz, take Hwy1 North (toward half
Moon Bay). On Business Highway 1 (Mission Street), travel approximately one
mile north to Bay Street in Santa Cruz. Turn right on Bay and proceed up the
hill to the main campus entrance.


>From Monterey: (see map) Take your best route to Hwy1 North to Santa Cruz
(toward Half Moon Bay). On Business Hwy1 (Mission Street), travel approximately
one mile north to Bay Street in Santa Cruz. Turn right on Bay and proceed up the
hill to the main campus entrance.

>From Main Campus Entrance: (see interactive Campus Map) This is the intersection
of Bay Street and High Street. Turn left on High Street. High Street becomes
Empire Grade Road. Continue on High Street/Empire Grade Rd. to the West
Entrance. Turn right to enter the campus at the West Entrance. This puts you on
Heller Drive. Turn left into Porter College parking lot (stop sign at
intersection of Heller & Meyer - if you reach Kresge East Apartments you've
gone too far) and look for the "SCA" signs.
