Due to my having let my Drum subscription lapse during my pregnancy, I am
unsure who the current Darkwood Chronicler is.

If the Chronicler is on this list, please would you email me? I have a
question for you.

If the Chronicler is not on this list, will someone please tell me who it
is, and how to contact them?

Thanks very much! =)

Your Excellency, the Chronicler of Darkwood is Caterina di Guglielmo,
catherine @ redshift dot com

It is very probable that she is currently attending the S.C.U.M Wars
event at Fort Ord, where I also would be if I could.

Greetings all,

I received my October Drum in the mail today and noted with some surprise
that we have a new web minister and a new web URL.

Since there seems to be no more need for my site, its content, or my
services, I will be removing it.

I only wish someone had notified me of the transfer of responsibility, as I
would have been happy to give the new web minister many of the historical
files and photographs present on my server.

Regards,
Quentyn

Ok duh, brain not functioning...Morwyn, I'll be sending you an email with
the location of all the historical files (photos, Sebastian memorial,
etc.). If you want any of them, just let me know and I'll zip them up and
send them to you.

Actually, I owe all of *you* an apology.

I shouldn't have given in to my pique and emailed the whole list about
it. It was childish of me, and I'm sorry.

I'm going to do all I can to help transition my files to Morwyn and the new
site. If any of you have pictures you've taken of Darkwood folks and/or
events, please send them to her to help boost the galleries.

Thank you for your understanding,
Quentyn

Hello my friends,
I saw Quentyn yesterday at our sewing gathering. We got on the subject of having things to give to royalty when she visits or if they came here. She did not have much to give. So my question is "Would you be so kind as to donate something that you have made or bought to give to her so that she has something to put in the baskets to be given to royalty when they are here or she visits. " Any help you can give would be great. and appreciated And our Lady of the mists would be ever so grateful.
And I thank you also from the bottom of my heart.
If you would like to let me know about this, you can e-mail or call me. 408-683-4379

See you all soon,

One of our Westies, CPL Justin Newport - of the Mists, currently
deployed to Iraq, is charged with trying to secure school supplies for
the kids in the school that they are helping to rebuild and resupply.
They are looking for notebooks, pencils, drawing paper, crayons, colored
pencils, erasers, folders, writing notebook paper. rulers, wall posters
(school oriented best), scissors, etc. If your group would like to
support them with a box or two, please send it to:

CMA NCO

or contact me offline and I'll help you contact Justin directly. I have
pictures of the school the National Guard unit out of our area is
sponsoring....

Lets show them what Westies are made of! If you want to bring things to
Gather on Wednesday, I'll make sure Justin gets them!

Attention Darkwood,

The Baroness' Masked Ball is this weekend!! There is still time to
learn some of the dances we will be doing prior to attending the Ball.
Dance Practice is this Thursday, October 21st. Come brush up on your
dancing skills before the ball.

In addition, we have regular Dance Practice on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th
Thursdays within Darkwood's borders. Practice starts at 7:30 pm and
runs to approximately 9:00 pm. In courtesy to those who must go to
work/school early the next day (including our hosts), we'd like to try
to be prompt starting and stopping. We suggest street clothes, rather
than garb, for practice. Clean, soft-soled shoes are a bonus.

If you have any questions, please contact:
Na'arah bat Avraham/Merrin Davidson (408) 848-5748
the_momstable@rocketmail.com

Please R.S.V.P. to the above contact, so we have a
rough idea of how many to expect.

Please feel free to forward this message to anyone who asks about
dance practice.

Dance will be held at Adriana Tacita and Marco Nibbione's house in
Morgan Hill. Directions to Marco & Adriana's:

Take the 101 to Morgan Hill and exit at Tennant. From the North exit
 and continue right,
from the South exit and turn left to go over the overpass.

Turn Left onto Monterey rd. It's about the third light.
Turn Right onto Vineyard just before the Chevron.
 Turn Left onto La Crosse.
Turn Left onto Calle Enrique at the stop sign.
Turn Right onto Las Coaches ct.

We are the blue house at the end of the court, #505. Look for temple
 dogs at
the door. Lost? Call 782-7948.(Use this phone number only for
directions. If you have other questions, contact Na'arah above)

And, hot on the heels of that announcement... You probably saw the message
I forwarded earlier regarding Miele (Will someone *please* let me know how
that's supposed to be spelled? I'm talking about Justin Newport.) and his
unit collecting supplies for a school they're helping over in the big
sandbox known as Iraq. With Naadhira's kind permission, I'll be collecting
donations (and will accept cash, with which I'll make a Costco run for
more stuff) at Masked Ball this Saturday.

I'm told that, where he is, there's a decent PX so *he* isn't hurting for
anything, really. But the school kids could really use our help. Pencils.
Crayons. Paper (of all sorts). All the usual stuff needed in schools.

Thanks all,
Christophe

You may read this or delete it. If you read it, It might make you a little more understanding of the issues we will be dealing with come this Nov. This was sent to us by a person that was in Collage with Bill. He is still with the military.
