Thanks for the update! I just got off the phone with Daryl. He'll be
in MacWorld on Thursday and will likely not make the meeting. He's
semi-committed at this point. I get the feeling he'd show up and
"stage manage", but didn't sound too interested in getting the needed
equipment. He did suggest we would need to procure a sound system and
possibly an engineer (he may have a recommendation on an engineer,
free or cheap). I'm not clear on what performance level we're
shooting for, but you might consider lighting as well. Anybody have
any of this in their back pocket? Does the Cocoanut Grove rent anything?

Hi Laurie,
Annie Van Brunt here. To bwe included in the program, however that
is being set up, I have secured John Turk and Dorothy Morrison, both
of whom Bruce adored. They will be performing during the official
program.. My brother in law is james Levi, great drummer, will also
be in attendance. David Leland , also a friend of Bruces, lives in
Santa Cruz and will be able to bring a drum kit.
I don't want to wrangle, but the official musicians for the formal
program have been booked. I am expecting to hear from John Turk
tonight (after he checks with his agent) that he does not have
another gig, but he doubts it and all looks good for Dorothy.
Jenny and Chey are cool with John and Dorothy doing a few numbers in
between speakers especially since Bruce loved them so much.
So not a wrangler but the official musicians are on board.
Just two cents.
